Welcome

Welcome to Without Fear, the fanlisting dedicated to the brilliant character of Evey Hammond, featured in the movie V for Vendetta.

This fanlisting is listed at the Fanlistings Network under the Character: books and movies category

Evey Hammond is probably one of my favorite female characters, be it in a movie or a book. Mostly used as a pawn in V's plans in the graphic novel, I think one of the best elements of the translation into the movie medium was to make her a far more interesting and complex character: haunted by the death of her parents and brother, torn between her wish for a quiet, anonymous life in the fictional fascist England where the story is taking place, and following V (Hugo Weaving) in his violent rebellion against the government, and his vendetta against all people he perceived had done him, or people he had cared for, wrong. Ultimately though, Evey helps in V's last plan, but also follows her own path, earning the respect of both V and Inspector Finch (Stephen Rea)

If you too are a fan of this fascinating character, have a look around and don't hesitate to join ;-)
